The Lone Lighthouse - The world has many structures in it. Some of them include the one you are living in right now, a house. Some may be a building you work in. Other structures can be mysterious. One of those mysterious structures is known to man as The Lighthouse. Now, we know what a lighthouse is built for. It's to guide ships at sea, but what do we know about the person who lives inside it? These people are known as Lighthouse keepers. Their main job is to make sure the lighthouse is in working order and is operating at all times. They have to make sure the light is working properly so the ships wouldn't be misguided. Nowadays, lighthouse keepers are rare to come across because of modern-day technology with solar panels and such. What makes a lighthouse an Object of Power is the influence it can have on someone's mentality and how someone views life.
One thing many of us are unsure about lighthouses is the lore behind them. The first lighthouse was built in 1696 by Henry Winstanley. He occasionally went to check on his lighthouse that was built in the middle of the ocean to repair it. On the night on the 27th of November, he, unfortunately, died from it collapsing on top of him due to the Great Storm. Despite being destroyed, there have been many stories with lighthouse keepers living morning to night by themselves in a Lone Lighthouse in the middle of the ocean. Very rarely would anyone visit and it would be once in a few months to deliver stockpiles of supplies. Being a lighthouse keeper nowadays is rare but is a lonely job. One of the toughest jobs to deal with, not because of the physical work but rather the mental distress of being by yourself. People were naturally built on social interaction and this is one of the jobs that completely negates that. Sometimes there have been certain cases where people decided to work as a lighthouse keeper for the rest of their life until they die. Knowing that someone died in a lighthouse could mean to this day that their soul still lives inside it which is one of the Two reasons that make a lighthouse a Lone Lighthouse. When someone has been working in one by themself all their life until they pass away in one and the fact that the lighthouse is also in the middle of an ocean by its self. A very lonesome structure in the middle of the sea.
The Lore of Lighthouses to this day remains mysterious since we are unsure of whether or not those lighthouses that used to have lighthouse keepers working by themselves inside it and have passed away inside one are still standing to this day in the Ocean. Some may still be there after many years of rust and decay. Some may have fallen apart in the ocean and are partially in ruins. Some may have completely disappeared. It's very unknown lore that can give some the chills or can leave some in astonishment or interest. One thing that we will know is that Lighthouses have always been an Object of Power since their creation.
